Directions for Use Adams Carbaryl Flea and Tick Shampoo DIRECTIONS FOR USE: It is a violation of Federal law to use this Product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. USER SAFETY REQUIREMENTSWear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes plus socks and household latex or rubber gloves when applying this Product. Change clothing as soon as possible after use.Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As with any pesticide Product, wash hands thoroughly immediately after handling and before eating, smoking or using the toilet.Use Product only outside or in a well-ventilated area. Wear household latex or rubber gloves. Do not allow children to apply this Product. As a precaution, a bland ophthalmic ointment should be placed in the eyes prior to bathing to prevent possible irritation. Thoroughly soak animal with warm water taking 2-3 minutes to wet hair. Apply SHAMPOO on head and ears and lather, then repeat procedure with neck, chest, middle, and hindquarters, finishing legs last. For best effects, allow lather to remain in contact with skin for 5 minutes before rinsing. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat every 2 weeks. Do not allow to get into eyes or on scrotum.
